Following years of unrealistic quick-fix diets, my husband introduced me to Lynsey who he had met through going to the gym himself and the personal training sessions commenced. I even enjoyed them that much I carried them on through my maternity leave (this wasn’t what I was expecting when I joined to lose weight and tone up may I add lol).
Anyway, I have found Lynnsey to be supportive, honest, and also has a wicked personality which makes the sessions really enjoyable as well as hard work when required to get the results I want.
I soon learned that starving myself from food to lose weight quickly was not a safe or long-term realistic solution and looking good was not just about weight but about feeling good mentally and physically as well which was more important.
I can honestly say so far that the whole experience has been extremely positive for me and it is the first time I have really enjoyed exercise and am looking forward to pleasing results as my sessions continue into the future.

Following a medical diagnosis and my consultant’s advice to take up vigorous exercise, I thought that finding the right personal trainer was going to be extremely difficult for a woman in her 50’s who had done very little exercise for over 20 years.
However, Lynnsey was highly recommended to me, we have worked together for 2 ½ years now and I can honestly say that the whole experience has been extremely positive for me.
Not only have my balance, core strength, flexibility and mobility improved massively, but I also feel physically and mentally better in so many ways and I now look forward to my sessions knowing that I will leave feeling energised and in control of my diagnosis.

I started my personal training journey with Lynnsey at the end of January, mainly for my mental health but also to tone up and become a healthier/happier version of myself. I have always loved going to the gym but had to stop a few years back as I was making my spinal and pelvis problems worse, this was down not having any professional help and lack of experience in training etc. I can already say only 4 weeks in that contacting Lynnsey was the best decision I have made in a long time. I’ve always been a little reluctant to get a personal trainer but Lynnsey made me feel at ease straight away, she plans exercises that best suit me and pushes me when needed and no session is the same, which I love!
